In the Light of Current Event

Our prophet not only warned us about him but he also prayed for seeking refuge from the hardness of the time because he knew that it would be the most darkest and worst age for Muslims around the world and it would be so hard to protect faith and to be a true believer.

Narrated ‘Aisha:

I heard Allah’s Apostle in his prayer, seeking refuge with Allah from the afflictions of Ad-Dajjal.

Dajjal would be one of them. And he would be the most powerful and influential and more trouble maker for mankind in all the falsely proclaimed messiahs and prophets.

The root dajjala means to mix. The word dajala is used to mean deliberately confusing matters and being vague and ambiguous. 



The Fitnah of the Dajjal

The fitnah of the Dajjal will be the greatest fitnah from the time Allah created Adam until the Hour begins. This will be because of the mighty miracles that Allah will create with him, which will dazzle people’s minds and amaze them.

Among the things which he warned us against was the fitnah of the Dajjal, because it is the greatest fitnah which the ummah will face until the Hour comes.

In the hadeeth of al-Nawwaas ibn Sam’aan about the Dajjaal, it is reported that the Sahaabah said: “O Messenger of Allaah, how long will he stay on the earth?” He said, “Forty days: one day like a year, one day like a month, one day like a week, and the rest of the days like your days.” … They said, “How fast will he travel through the earth?” He said, “Like the clouds when they are driven by the wind. He will come to some people and call them, and they will believe in him and respond to him. Then he will command the sky to rain, and the earth to bring forth vegetation, and their cattle will come back to them in the evening, with their humps very high, and their udders full of milk, and their flanks stretched. Then he will come to another people and will call them, but they will reject him. So he will leave them and they will be stricken with famine, with none of their wealth in their hands. He will pass by ruins and will say, ‘Bring forth your treasure!’ – and the treasure will follow him like a swarm of bees. Then he will call a man who is brimming with youth, and will strike him with a sword and cut him in two, then (he will put the pieces apart from one another) the distance of an archer from his target. Then he will call him, and the young man will come forward smiling, with his face shining.”

What will be the aims and ambitions of Antichrist

According to Hadith and religious scholars that Dajjal would come in the time of great afflictions. He will be the test by the God for people to distinguish the true believers and the people who are working for the satanic agenda in the world, and to make a world a better place for us by sending the true messiah i.e. Jesus (p.b.u.h) who will fight and then eliminate all the evil powers in the world and spread the peace and harmony among the nations of the world. The aim of Antichrist would be completely wipe out the religious believes and promote ungodly worship and then total disbelief in God or Atheism. Ungodly worship can be in the form of Idol worship like Hindus and Buddhists and also can be in the form of democratic governing system.

Dajjal commands the sky to rain and orders the earth to grow plants, then it rains and plants grow” (Muslim 2010, 2937)

தஜ்ஜாலை கண்ட ஸஹாபா தமீம் தாரி ரலி

நபிகள் நாயகம் (ஸல்) அவர்களின் அழைப்பாளர் அஸ்ஸலாத்து ஜாமிஆ (தொழுகை நடத்தும் நேரம் வந்து விட்டது) என்று அறிவிப்பதைச் செவியுற்று நான் பள்ளிவாசல் சென்றேன். நபிகள் நாயகம் (ஸல்) அவர்களுடன் தொழுதேன். தொழுது முடித்ததும் நபிகள் நாயகம் (ஸல்) அவர்கள் சிரித்துக் கொண்டு மிம்பரில் அமர்ந்தார் கள். ஒவ்வொருவரும் தொழுத இடத்திலேயே இருங்கள் என்று கூறிவிட்டு நான் உங்களை ஏன் கூட்டினேன் என்பதை அறிவீர்களா? என்று கேட்டார்கள். அல்லாஹ்வும் அவனது தூதருமே நன்கறிந்தவர்கள் என்று நாங்கள் கூறினோம். அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது ஆணையாக உங்களுக்கு அச்சமூட்டவோ, ஆர்வமூட்டவோ உங்களை நான் கூட்டவில்லை. தமீமுத்தாரி கிறிஸ்தவராக இருந்தார். அவர் இஸ்லாத்தை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டார். தஜ்ஜால் பற்றி நான் உங்களுக்குக் கூறி வந்ததற்கேற்ப அவர் ஒரு செய்தியை என்னிடம் கூறினார்.

அவர் கூறியதாவது:

லக்ம், ஜுகாம் ஆகிய கோத்திரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த முப்பது நபர்களுடன் கப்பலில் நான் பயணம் செய்தேன். ஒரு மாதம் அலைகளால் நாங்கள் அலைக்கழிக்கப்பட்டோம். சூரியன் மறையும் நேரத்தில் ஒரு தீபகற்பத்தில் ஒதுங்கினோம். சிறு கப்பல் ஏறி தீபகற்பத்தில் நுழைந்தோம். அப்போது அதிகமான மயிர்களைக் கொண்ட பிராணி ஒன்று எங்களை எதிர் கொண்டது. அதிகமான மயிர்கள் இருந்ததால் அப்பிராணியின் மலப்பாதை எது? சிறு நீர்ப்பாதை எது என எங்களால் அறிய முடியவில்லை.

அப்பிராணியிடம் உனக்குக் கேடு உண்டாகட்டும்! நீ என்ன பிராணி? என்று கேட்டோம். நான் ஜஸ்ஸாஸா என்று அப்பிராணி கூறியது. நீங்கள் இந்த மடத்திலுள்ள மனிதனிடம் செல்லுங்கள்! அவர் உங்களைப் பற்றி அறிவதில் அதிக ஆர்வமுடையவராக இருக்கிறார் எனவும் அப்பிராணி கூறியது. அது ஒரு மனிதனைப் பற்றிக் கூறியதும் அப்பிராணி ஒரு ஷைத்தானாக இருக்குமோ என்று அஞ்சினோம்.

நாங்கள் விரைந்து சென்று அந்த மடாலயத்தை அடைந்தோம். அங்கே பருமனான ஒரு மனிதனைக் கண்டோம். அவனைப் போன்ற ஒரு படைப்பை நாங்கள் ஒரு போதும் கண்டதில்லை. இரண்டு கரண்டைக் கால்களுக்கும் முட்டுக்கால்களுக்குமிடையே இரும்பினால் கழுத்துடன் தலை சேர்த்து அவன் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்தான். உனக்குக் கேடு உண்டாகட்டும். ஏனிந்த நிலை? என்று நாங்கள் கேட்டோம்.

அதற்கு அம்மனிதன், என்னைப் பற்றி அறிய சக்தி பெற்று விட்டீர்கள். எனவே நீங்கள் யார்? என எனக்குக் கூறுங்கள் என்றான்.

நாங்கள் அரபியர்கள். ஒரு கப்பலில் பயணம் செய்த போது ஒரு மாதம் கடல் எங்களை அலைக்கழித்து இந்தத் தீபகற்பத்தில் நுழைந்தோம். அடர்ந்த மயிர்களைக் கொண்ட ஒரு பிராணியைக் கண்டோம். அப்பிராணி நான் ஜஸ்ஸாஸா ஆவேன். இந்த மடாலயத் தில் உள்ள மனிதரைச் சந்தியுங்கள் என்று கூறியது. எனவே உம்மிடம் விரைந்து வந்தோம். அதனால் திடுக்குற்றோம். அது ஷைத்தானாக இருக்குமோ என்று அஞ்சினோம். எனக் கூறினோம்.

பைஸான் எனுமிடத்தில் உள்ள பேரீச்சை மரங்கள் பலன் தருகின்றனவா? என எனக்குக் கூறுங்கள் என்று அம்மனிதன் கேட்டான். நாங்கள் ஆம் என்றோம். அதற்கு அம்மனிதன் ‘விரை வில் அங்குள்ள மரங்கள் பலனளிக்காமல் போகலாம் என்றான்.

தபரிய்யா எனும் ஏரியைப் பற்றி எனக்குக் கூறுங்கள்! அதில் தண்ணீர் உள்ளதா? என்று அவன் கேட்டான். அதில் அதிகமான தண்ணீர் உள்ளது என்று நாங்கள் கூறினோம். அந்தத் தண்ணீர் விரைவில் வற்றி விடக் கூடும் என்று அவன் கூறினான்.

ஸ{கர் என்னும் நீரூற்றில் தண்ணீர் உள்ளதா? அங்குள்ளவர்கள் அத்தண்ணீரால் விவசாயம் செய்கிறார்களா? என்று அவன் கேட்டான். அதற்கு நாங்கள் ஆம்! தண்ணீர் அதிகமாகவே உள்ளது அங்குள்ளோர் அத்தண்ணீரால் விவசாயம் செய்து வருகின்றனர் என்றோம்.

உம்மி சமுதாயத்தில் தோன்றக் கூடிய நபியின் நிலை என்ன? என்பதை எனக்குக் கூறுங்கள் என்று அம்மனிதன் கேட்டான். அவர் மக்காவிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு மதீனாவில் தங்கியிருக்கிறார் என்று கூறினோம்.

அவருடன் அரபுகள் போர் செய்தார்களா? என்று அம்மனிதன் கேட்டான். நாங்கள் ஆம் என்றோம். போரின் முடிவு எவ்வாறு இருந்தது? என்று அவன் கேட்டான். அதற்கு நாங்கள் அவர் தன்னை அடுத்துள்ள அரபியரையெல்லாம் வெற்றி கொண்டு விட்டார் எனக் கூறினோம். அவருக்கு வழிப்படுவதே அவர்களுக்கு நல்லதாகும் என்று அவன் கூறினான்.

நான் இப்போது என்னைப் பற்றிக் கூறப் போகிறேன். நான் தான் தஜ்ஜால் ஆவேன். (இங்கிருந்து) வெளியேற வெகு விரைவில் எனக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கப்படலாம். அப்போது நான் வெளியே வருவேன். ப+மி முழுவதும் பயணம் செய்வேன். (நான் பயணிக்கக் கூடிய) நாற்பது நாட்களில் எந்த ஊரையும் அடையாமல் இருக்க மாட்டேன். ஆயினும், மக்கா, மதீனா ஆகிய இரு ஊர்களைத் தவிர. அவ்விரு ஊர்களும் எனக்கு விலக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. அவ்விரண்டு ஊர்களுக்குள் நான் நுழைய முயலும் போதெல்லாம் தன் கையில் வாளுடன் ஒரு மலக்கு என்னை எதிர் கொண்டு தடுத்து நிறுத்துவார். அவற்றின் ஒவ்வொரு வழியிலும் அதைக் காக்கும் வானவர்கள் இருப்பர் என்று அம்மனிதன் கூறினான்.

இதை தமீமுத்தாரி (ரலி) அவர்கள் தம்மிடம் கூறியதாக நபிகள் நாயகம் (ஸல்) கூறினார்கள். மேலும் தமது கைத்தடியால் மிம்பர் மீது தட்டி, இது (மதீனா) தைபா (தூய நகரம்) இது தைபா@ இது தைபா எனக் கூறினார்கள். ‘இதே விஷயத்தை முன்பே நான் உங்களிடம் கூறியிருக்கிறேன் அல்லவா? என்று மக்களிடம் கேட்டார்கள். மக்கள் ஆம் என்றனர்.

அறிந்து கொள்க! நிச்சயம் அவன் ஷாம் நாட்டின் கடல் பகுதியில் இருக்கிறான், அல்லது எமன் நாட்டின் கடல் பகுதியில் இருக்கிறான், இல்லை, இல்லை, அவன் கிழக்குத் திசையில் இருக்கிறான் என மும்முறை கூறினார்கள்.

இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியை ஃபாத்திமா பின்த் கைஸ்(ரலி) அறிவிக்கிறார்கள். நூல்: முஸ்லிம் 5235.

 Do you know why I had asked you to assemble?

 They said: Allah and His Messenger know best.

 He said: By Allah. I have not made you assemble for exhortation or for a warning, but I have detained you here, for Tamim Dari, a Christian, who came and accepted Islam, told me something, which agrees with what I was-telling, you about the Dajjal. 

He narrated to me that he had sailed in a ship along with thirty men of Bani Lakhm and Bani Judham and had been tossed by waves in the ocean for a month. Then these (waves) took them (near) the land within the ocean (island) at the time of sunset. They sat in a small side-boat and entered that Island. 

There was a beast with long thick hair (and because of these) they could not distinguish his face from his back. They said: Woe to you, who can you be? Thereupon it said: I am al-Jassasa. 

They said: What is al-Jassasa? And it said: O people, go to this person in the monastery as he is very much eager to know about you. He (the narrator) said: When it named a person for us we were afraid of it lest it should be a Devil. Then we hurriedly went on till we came to that monastery and found a well-built person there with his hands tied to his neck and having iron shackles between his two legs up to the ankles. We said: Woe be upon thee, who are you? And he said: You would soon come to know about me, but tell me who are you. We said: We are people from Arabia and we embarked upon a boat but the sea-waves had been driving us for one month and they brought as near this island.. So we came to you in hot haste fearing that that might be the Devil.

 He (that chained person) said: Tell me about the date-palm trees of Baisan. We &aid: About what aspect of theirs do you seek information ? He said: I ask you whether these trees bear fruit or not. We said: Yes Thereupon he said: I think these would not bear fruits. He said: Inform me about the lake of Tabariyya? We said: Which aspect of it do you want to know? He said: Is there water in it? They said: There is abundance of water in it. Thereupon he said: I think it would soon become dry. He again said: Inform me about the spring of Zughar. They said: Which aspect of it you want to know? He (the chained person) said: Is there water in it and does it irrigate (the land) ? We said to him: Yes, there is abundance of water in it and the inhabitants (of Medina) irrigate (land) with the help of it.

He said: Inform me about the unlettered Prophet; what has he done? We said: He has come out from Mecca and has settled In Yathrib (Medina). He said: Do the Arabs fight against him? We said: Yes. He said: How did he deal with him? We informed him that he had overcome those in his neighbourhood and they had submitted themselves before him. Thereupon he said to us: Had it actually happened? We said: Yes. Thereupon he said: If it is so that is better for them that they should show obedience to him. I am going to tell you about. myself and I am Dajjal and would be soon permitted to get out and so I shall get out and travel in the land, and will not spare any town where I would not stay for forty nights except Mecca and Medina as these two (places) are prohibited (areas) for me and I would not make an attempt to enter any one of these two. An angel with a sword in his hand would confront me and would bar my way and there would be angels to guard every passage leading to it; then Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) striking the pulpit with the help of the end of his staff said : This implies Taiba meaning Medina. Have I not, told you an account (of the Dajjal) like this?'The people said: Yes, and this account narrated by Tamim Dari was liked by me for it corroborates the account which I gave to you in regard to him (Dajjal) at Medina and Mecca. Behold he (Dajjal) is in the Syrian sea (Mediterranian) or the Yemen sea (Arabian sea). Nay, on the contrary, he As In the east, he is in the east, he is in the east, and he pointed with his hand towards the east. I (Fatima bint Qais) said: I preserved It In my mind (this narration from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him).

"Dajjal will reveal himself from the East. He will belong from a Jewish family. He is usually described as blind in one eye. And the word "Kafir" will be written on his forehead. He would conquer Jerusalem and travel the whole world entering every city except Mecca and Medina.

As a false Messiah, many will be deceived by him and join his ranks. He will be assisted by an army of devils. The most reliable supporters of his will be the Jews, to whom he will be like a God. Upon his return many people with weak Iman will fall under his spell. It will be impossible to keep our daughters and wives at home after his arrival. (These are the signs of Kiamah)."

The first 10 ayats of Surah-al-Kahf can spare us from the fitnah of Dajjal. Try to memorize first ten ayats of Surah-al-Kahf. Try to recite it daily. This is not a joke. Please try to increase awareness regarding this. It's the biggest, hardest & difficult fitnah of our ummah and I see many people unaware about it. Please learn about it and and try to build up your Iman because the Dajjal is gonna play with our Iman.

Why we are tested?

 

God is being unfair?

This is a very common question from Muslims, people of other faiths, or no faith—so it’s important to reflect on it. Lack of answers can sometimes distance people from their faith—if a person doesn’t understand why trials happen they can start to feel life is unfair or even that God is being unfair. But Allah is Al-Adl, The Just, and He is Ar-Rahman, The Most Merciful; He never wants ill for His servants, He only wants the best for us. There is a lot of evidence in the Qur’an and hadith that helps us answer this question of why we are tested.

 We were created to worship Allah

We were created to worship Allah, and we all made a promise to do so before we were sent to earth. Tests are a means for us to fulfill this promise. In fact, they are a “sunnah” of Allah – i.e. tests are the means by which Allah distinguishes between us, because they help to expose faith and lack of faith.  Allah states in the Qur’an:

‘Do the people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be tried? But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident those who are false.’ [Qur’an 29: 2-3]

2) Allah tests us to purify us and wash away our sins.

The Prophet (saw) said:“No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even if it were the prick of a thorn.”  [Bukhari, Muslim].

So instead of seeing tests as a punishment from Allah, this shows that in fact, Allah wants to save us from punishment – i.e. the punishment of the Hereafter which is much worse than any test faced in this Dunya.

 A test can sometimes replace a worse misfortune

A test can be a form of protection from something that might have befallen us.  Or being deprived of something might, in fact, be saving us from something that is not good for us, even though we don’t have the knowledge to realise it at the time.  Allah tells us: “Perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.” [Qur’an 4: 19]. Therefore the test which might seem so awful to you at the time is, in fact, a blessing.

 Tests are given to us to strengthen our iman (faith).

The Prophet (saw) said:“The people who face the most difficult tests are the prophets, then the righteous, then those following them in degree. A person is tried according to his religion. So if there is firmness in his religion, then the trial is increased, and if there is a weakness, then it is lightened. Verily a trial remains with a servant until he walks the earth having no sin left upon him.” [Bukhari].

Allah wants to refine us, out of His love and mercy, so that we can attain not just Paradise but the highest rank of the Prophets and the righteous. Tests expose our faults and weaknesses to ourselves—and that awareness enables us to be more focused and proactive in rectifying those aspects of our character.
